How It All Started:
Like many great ideas, ours began with the classic line:
“We’re so funny, we should start a podcast.”
At first, it was just a joke — the kind you toss around over coffee (or wine). But fast forward a year and a road trip to Texas, and things got real. Somewhere between deep conversations and a crappy hotel room, Charlie casually said:
“Man, adulthood really is a project.”
And just like that, Adulthood is a Project was born.
We launched the podcast in January 2025 with a simple mission: to laugh, learn, and talk through the chaos of grown-up life — with a sisterly twist. Then, in true “why not?” fashion, we decided to take things a step further and hit the road.
By September 2025, Neighborhood to Trailerhood was up and running — our way of combining work, travel, and a whole lot of trial-and-error living.
As for the Adulthood Instruction Manuals? That genius was all K.C. (she’s the organized one). They’re our attempt to offer helpful, hilarious, and occasionally questionable guidance for anyone navigating life’s never-ending to-do list.
And this? This is just the beginning. Who knows what project we’ll dream up next?
